Mike Preston Death

I just read of the sad news, and have such a shitty, empty hole in my gut! I will always remember Mike for his shenanigans, he was a great character. He will be missed!!

yesterday at chief i had mike in mind for most of the flight. during our flight last year (the day of his accident) mike took several nice pix. he was showing me the enlarged prints at bates awhile ago and came to a great shot of me, from altitude w/the topa bluffs in the background. i hadn't seen that one and was awed. i asked where i could download the shot and he gave me the print with no hesitation. i have it framed and look at it everyday.

he also showed me some really magnificent superimposed prints of him flying with a hand held up to the face of Jesus in the clouds. they were so beautiful~

my sincerest empathy for the loss of this cool guy.
