suprone harness

Postby Joel » Thu Sep 27, 2007 11:42 am

Hey All-Does anybody know a suprone pilot? My neck may not support extended prone flight, so I am researching for makers/suppliers. Don't really feel like giving up flying, although a pitch adjustable rig might do the trick. 5'11" 230 lbs 46 " chest 38" waist. Thanx for any help. Joel

Joel,

I don't know any suprone pilots, however, I recently flew Wolfi's lightweight hiking PG harness with a WW Spreader bar on a Falcon. I was at Fort Funston and it was a blast. I flew to the Dumps with no hands. I rested my ankles over the bar and just chilled. I'm sure we could get you a demo flight with a similar set up if you're interested.

Maybe you could tell me about your current equipment and flying style/goals.

I'd love to help make you more comfortable, even if it's just modifying/adjusting your current harness.

you can email me: pic zippy at hotmail dot com (get rid of the spaces, etc)

Look forward to flying with you,
Zippy

Fred Waugh who used to fly with us in Ojai flew suprone. I don't know whether he's still joining Andy and Emily at Chief's but I'm sure you could contact him and find a place to meet up, see the way he's set it up, etc. He may be flying Kagel/Sylmar more often now.
