I am not looking to buy a camcorder at the moment, just am curious. Just wondering if there's any other better systems than this that i should know about.

I just got one of these little buggers, GoPro Hero. I was impressed by some pretty good videos taken by another pilot at a PPG flyin. The units come with a lot of assorted attachments for helmets, handlebars, and wrists etc. I found EBay had the best prices.
