Registration and SCPA PHPBB Forums Status

If you want to post to the various SBSA forums and or see the publicly hidden forums, submit (email) a registration request to:

You can also send me (SD) a direct text or telegram message to speed up the process as there is often a lot of email in my inbox waiting on bandwidth.

Registration is arguably a bit slow and clunky, but
We had a spam attack in 2021 and then thousands of continued spam registration attempts, so we elected to turn off user-controlled registration.

We could arguably implement a more modern registration method, but the SCPA forums aren’t utilized much anymore, so we haven’t.

We continue to maintain the SCPA forums mostly for their historical archive value, but we did accidently loose a chunk of articles cleaning up the spam attack. Some pilots do occasionally post to these SCPA Forums because it has more staying power than the Telegram and other social media chat groups, which are good for here and now but not so good for longer discussions and archiving? It is also easy to post longer articles to the SCPA forums, which permit more control over presentation, and then copy and paste a link to the SCPA forum articles into other social media like Telegram.
