Walt's Point, 25 Years Back

Haven’t flown since my birthday in February, but with the solstice approaching, I thought some may enjoy my log from Walt’s Point 25 years ago.

Thanks for sharing sd. I especially like it as I remember exactly what I was doing June of 1986. Man that was ages ago!

Paragliding is not the best.
Thermal flying IS the best!

I won't concede that today's foot launched flights can't compare with the pilots towing.
Bruce Barmakian has flown 308 miles foot launching and there are a "large" number of foot launched flights over 200+ miles, in fact I would say that there are more 200+ mile flights foot launched than there are being towed. Foot launch flights of over 300 miles are doable from Walt's there just isn't anyone trying.
