There's a great lapse rate for Santa Barbara today, about 29 degrees. So, if the winds stay light, there's no overdevelopment and no storm cells whip through the area, we actually might get good flights here on the coast. Meet time is 10 AM at Parma Park.

Got up to 4,200 feet today (cloudbase) in very light lift. Flew for an hour. Brendan, Robb, OJ and I landed at East Beach.

Marty, Art and I hit the nuthouse today. climbing that trail in 60 degree overcast is slightly different than the norm! we all got up. i was off last and saw that it wasn't working past the pyramid. i stayed at the nuthouse ridge and eventually climbed to 4500 at cloudbase in gentle and freezing lift. I had an easy glide to the hs. Marty put down shy of the hs in some kindof lush green utopia and Art went down to the school field near the bowling strip. we reconvened in camarillo for a spectacular afternoon 1st launch flight. Marty had probably the highest altitude i've ever seen over the LZ. really fun day.
