4 Personal Bests from Alternator Today!

A small group of hopeful pilots boarded the Eagle van around 10:00 this morning. Magic & Pink Floyd got us to the Alternator in great spirits. Not much parawaiting today. It was a little east, but good cycles were already coming up.

Doug launched first & showed us it was on. It seemed to be going up everywhere. We all stayed up & flew high. The ride got a little bumpy & we decided to land. Except there was lift all around the T, so Dave Baldwin & I thermalled over the LZ for a while before landing.

The day was beautiful and the view fantastic! I’m glad a day like today finally happened on the weekend…

This was my best thermalling flight yet And three other Eaglets had personal bests today. Great job Kelly, Joel, Jesse! Thanks, SA, for the use of Eagle’s van. And thanks for driving, Magic.

Dilly,

Awesome job today! You topped out and held that position for most of the day. You definitely had the highest and longest flight of the day.

Doug, showing us the way made it look good. He launched and had to get to West Bowl to bench back to launch twice … hoping to show us the way over to La Cumbra but it just wasn’t working well enough.

What a wonderful day in SB!
I didn't fly to east beach ……but you know I drove there to make sure all the Beautiful volley ball girls were OK in this SB heat <grin>
