Posted: Tue Mar 25, 2008 12:38 pmAfter the magno-cool flights i saw being perpetrated on Sunday from the marina I was more than eager to try my luck on Monday
The Eagle van was packed with all sorts of strange cats
Brad G was also here, (Im glad you here Mon!!)
Cycles started coming in around 12ish.
Kevin H and Heidi Launched 1st and had a nice flight to parma.
I managed to nail the end of the cycle and was unable to recover from the emotional blow. (due to this Im even selling my glider, summit 3 size small, 34-no 35 hrs after yesterday, make an offer)
Scratched on the Thermal Factory and limped to the antennas and managed to get back to like 2500 or so but just could not connect (I was still tring to recover from the emotional blow .....)
Saw someone getting some love over the monastery and stayed there for a while, then it "turned on" over the neighborhood and boated there for while w everyone else.
By now Rob (SA) and Brad where well on their way to Sta claus lane.
Special mentioning of Robs spanking new glider!!!!
All i can say is:
Jah Lives! RASTAFARI!!!!!
(you got to see it, it will bring a smile to your heart)
Leeside offered a ride back up so i "spiraled" down to catch it but decided to go get dog food instead (as you see i was still recovering form the emotional blow...)( and had to do the "baby tag team" thing at home)
It was a very joyous affair to everyone involved I think.
Rather fun indeed.
