About 30 of us showed up at launch with high hopes but the day just didn't give us much love. Grey was the color of the day and the high clouds put the brakes on the XC. As the day progressed so did the cloud cover. Plenty of pilots launched and it seemed fairly easy to maintain between 3-3500' but you had to sell your soul to get much higher. We didn't get our XC fix but we were rewarded for showing up today as Hammer brought the keg from last nights "Palace Party" over to Parma so we could all practice our consumption skills.

The overcast skies made it difficult to get good shots as well but I was able to get off plenty of them while I was waiting and hoping for conditions to improve.
