Tuesday flying

Lee called early to go flying and after some last minute shuffleing of home duties i was able to meet him at Parma
The clouds where popping like popcorn everywhere and since last nights winds aloft report looked good, off we went.
Lee drove his truck since he was flying a hangie.
It was cool to be the only two there.
Two friends in diferent wings going up to fly.
Isnt that what this is all about?!?
After a less than stellar take off i just hooked into the House thermal and up I went all the way to CB (47 or so)
On the way up I was blown away by the beauty of the view.
To see it grow as I climbed was just incredible.
All the peaks covered in white
The whole back range and beyond had loads of snow. There where waterfalls everywhere.
It was just awesome!
My camera decided to not work one one of the most photogenic days so far. After fumbling with it for a long time I just gave it up.
I so wish i had pics of today.
Since I had just a short time to fly I quickly headed for cathedral
Loads of lift over the RR
A bit turbulent but nothing too sharp.
The glide to Cathedral was preety good.
Once out there you could feel the NW though.
The Air had some texture to it. just enough to keep it fun but nothing to gnarly.
It was also nice to fly among the clouds!
Headed back to the RR and then to the T factory wanting to wait for Lee to launch.
He aslo went preety much straight up and off he goes towards painted cave.
I went out to Parma and boated for a while.
Noticed that parma was preety muddy so landed a bit short on purpose.
Went to pay my respects to the mayor of Parma and then busted back home
Over an hour later i called Lee to see how his flight was and he answered from the air!
Dude! if someone is still flying you can bet that it is Leeside!
It was cool to fly w/ Lee only but i sure wish that more people could have made it.
Special shout out to them comp dudes down in Valle
GO guys!
Thanks again Lee for the ride!
