friday 14th convention

Dude!!!!
As I drove up to the T it looked like a convention or soething!
Its been such long time since so many people has gathered at the same time.
Even the Eagle van got maxed out ( I guess lots of people heard about the Xmas free ride special!)
Anyways.
it wwas a bit east when we got there, but it didnt face anyone.
The tandems launched first then Andy (ventura..) showed that light lift is no excuse to not go downrange.
Then Xavier ( 2nd flight, Felicidades!) And ofcourse Art was ready to go.
I got ready and had a less than stellar take-off (albeit a good save...)
Found some lift "near" launch and in no time Palmer an Art and myself made a play for la cumbre.
the lift was not very frindly.
Art left and then Palmer but I got greedy and tried to get more hight over cathedral but found nothing.
Opted to go back to westbowl and found myself as low as ive ever been there.
but the day was good and made it up back to 4k+
by then the AAA (andy x 2 and art) where at padaro and in the car so i stayed local to do some laps
went over launch (it was sooo cool to see Gleny out there flying!!!!)
then back to WB and followed Kevin H to cathedral again
There he showed where the action was and we tanked up and went back to westbowl
there we tanked up again and went to the lz and wondered what was the fastest way down
maybe one day ill learn to SAT like Wayne!
Dude, we better rent a bus for tomorrow!
