Andy Emily, and Terry T. went flying today. We ended up at Bates for it was blown out in the mountains with the NORTH WIND...
So Bates it was... It was 12 to 18 at take off, and building at noon. SO Andy and Terry set up and it was smooth sailing as the winds filled in Nicely. It was 18 to 22 at launch as they punched off.
1100 ft at bates made for a easy time jumping the gap.
2400 at La Concheta and it was a zip down the coast there after.
2700 at feria Point above the flower fields.
2000 at solimar.
1800 at Taylor ranch and deminishing.
Into the AVE. Back up to 1500 after loosing enough to only be even with the top at 600... After trying to come in Deep to see if the "WAVE" had set up over the freeway, "NOT."
Off to the Harbor and it was still almost 6 to 800 to a nice set down on the beach.
Aprox 1 15 minutes flight time on Andys Vario clock...
Great day and lots of fun as a whole. A lot was learned as it was Andys first time down the coast. Thanks Terry T for the help and showing him the way etc...
