BAPA Owens Valley Comp. Oct.6-8

Postby Chip Bartley » Wed Sep 19, 2007 7:48 pm

Attention all TOPA pilots,

The NorCal league is holding a 3 day comp in the Owens. I wanted everyone to be aware of it and hopefully we can make a showing. Pretty cool that it is quazi local and the Nats will be there next year. sounds like a blast. Pack it up and live a little.

Check out the BAPA website and follow the links to the XC league. you should also join the yahoo groups for the Xc league. You should see the link for that. Juggs will be posting more info on the yahoo groups and at the paragliding forum website.

In the meantime we need to fill out a pilot registration form and the waiver. Both of which you should be able to find on the Xc league website within the BAPA.

The BAPA website is: http://www.sfbapa.org

If there are any questions I will do my best to answer. I can be reached at 805.844.0058

Damn, I was looking forward to North Carolina for the nationals next year.

A couple of us from down south are planning to fly a few days before and/or after the BAPA comp from Walt's depending on the weather forecast. If anyone else is interested, PM or email me at foster at condorfreeflight dot com.
