Was told by one of the local weather gurus that we may have a break in athe rain.Got a ride out to this ridge with a local hangy originally from the UK. The ridge is about 850 with the PG launch 200 ft lower. Probably blowing in from the N around 15-18 Was catching some thermals mixed in ridge lift to about 1800. The locals will XC along the ridge almost 40k to the west! Sometimes they get mountain waves through there and has scarily taken folks up to 7k! I've been told it is easily one of the prettiest flying sites in Ireland... I also threw in a vid of the last site including my brother getting spanked on launch... ha!
