OJ and I took a run over to Bates just after noon and got rewarded with what can only be summed up as an epic bates day. Epic is of course a relative term when talking about Bates but to be able to run down to the rookery and back multiple times, and soar at launch is about as fun as it gets. Launch was the ultimate playground and top-landings were frequent.

Conditions look similar for Tuesday.

Pete Van Hamersveld from CSU Dominguez Hills was at Bates with us the other day snapping some really nice photos. He sent a bunch of them our way.
