High Stakes XC Challenge

Postby Southside » Thu Mar 02, 2006 8:40 am

Just in case you don't read the OZ report --

Join us in a high stakes, winner takes all, XC challenge. The rules are simple:

Entry fee: $100
Starting Date: April 15th
Pilots must enter before April 1st
Weekend flights only (local time)

First pilot to...
RW: 150 miles
FW: 125 miles
PG: 100 miles
Single Surface HG: 75 miles
...goes home with the money.

So there is no confusion, there are four separate pots, one for each wing.

If more than 1 pilot reaches their wing's milestone on the same day the pilot that has the longest flight wins that pot.

The contest is open to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere.

Steve Kroop at Flytec USA has agreed to hold the money. You'll need to get him a check (made out to Steve Kroop) for $100 by April 1st. Flytec U.S.A. 6548 Groveland Airport Road Groveland, FL 34736 United States. Pilots might be able to sign up via PayPal, but that is not in place as of now.

Flight verified by Steve through the HOLC.

Of course everyone can do the math, but 100 entries means a $10,000 pay day.

Good luck,

John
