Finally Low pressure

Went up to the alternator today in the cold, cloud forming air. There was snow on E camino cielo, and the 154 had just opened 15 mins earlier. The clouds were lining up down the range with bases about 5k, and no drift or wind showing on them at all. We got to launch and set up and punched a couple windtechs off, and decided not to fly the student, so Irene, Cormic, Bob P, Kabir, and I flew bags, and Jim, and Greg flew hangies. It was cold strong and kind of disorganized, base was over 52hun. Lot of little feeder thermals funneling into big monsters over the peaks, mostly SE push. Climbs were in the 12-1300 range.
Landed after a couple of climb outs and took the student over to the training hill where the usual suspects were climbing out. It looked a lot like the day Chad climbed out and went to parma. Andy the vet claimed he had the climb out made, but he was sans-reserve and gloves so he decided to spiral down and forego the record and probable frostbite.
What a storm front.
The hangies were going all over the place, I saw Jim specked out over the VOR, and Greg ended up down at East Beach.
