East Beach landing

Postby Skippy » Tue Oct 31, 2006 9:01 am

Well, it was a fun weekend, Sunday being unexpectedly better than Saturday, despite the haze... All that flew had great flights. Many made it to the beach.

Which brings me to remind everyone of the East Beach and Round House rules posted on the SBSA website: http://sbsa.info/East%20Beach/east_beac ... lines.html

The flying season is kicking in, so we'll have more opportunities to fly out to the beach, so please take a moment to refamiliarize yourself with the attached document. Also make sure that all pilots you fly with are familiar with these rules before heading out to the beach. I personally have a print out of these rules in my harness so that I can share them on launch if necessary. I encourage everyone else to do the same thing.

Remember that you should have an Advanced rating before taking that glide out. Now may be a good time to update your rating, if you haven't done it yet.

Thank you all for your support!
Happy flying,
Skippy
