The first cold front of the season is scheduled to pass to our north on Thursday. No rain, but a stellar lapse rate in SB, however Thursday is likely to be too windy from the NW in the mountains? Both the wind and the lapse rate slacken a bit on Friday and clock around to come from the north. By the weekend high pressure has built inland to give is our first Santa Anna from the NE. It would be tempting to give Thursday a look early before the wind gets too strong, but I've got other commitments. Looks like strong wind in the Channel on Thursday afternoon also, so Bates might have a window?
