Wednesday evening I gave him my tuppence-worth on the forecast and Dr Jack's NAM BLIPMap was spot on weather-wise. Tavis' X/C speed was very good too. He caught the bus to Carpenteria and sd gave him a ride back to his truck parked at Parma. It's funny writing this as an HG pilot and knowing what a PITA it is to do solo X/C. I guess it's time I took up Dizzy on his offer to borrow his old gear and start kiting.
