Saturday Alert: 9:30 at East Beach and 9:45 at Parma

Looks like high altitude and long distance potential. Stellar lapse rate without Friday's east wind down the Santa Clara River. La Cumbre Peak was blowing from the east at dawn, but today is a transition day and the west should come through early and robust with onshore flow up the rivers.

Sunday may be ok also, but Saturday looks better with a stronger lapse rate and less wind. It is forecast to get a bit windy in the mountains later today, so by Sunday it might be a bit much. Bates looks like a possibility both Saturday afternoon and Sunday.

Finally got around to posting my photos from April's 94 mile flight to Rosamond
http://paraglide.net/log/15/04-04/photo/

Sorry, but no airborne shots until after topping out and going on final glide. Already have plenty of photos from SB to Piru. Would have been nice to get some photos crossing I-5, and the Liebre Mountains, but I was too focused on the flying to let go. I was able to relax and get the camera out after topping out over the Leona Valley
