Coastal Cliffs

Postby sd » Tue Feb 17, 2015 11:51 pm

The coastal cliffs have been working for the past couple of days despite minimal wind mid channel. We've had a deep marine layer capped by a pronounced inversion. I think the good lapse rate in the marine layer below the inversion has been drawing. The marine layer has been somewhat thick, around 2500 feet on Tuesday, but should begin to squash down on Wednesday to 1500, which might limit the draw a bit.

I've heard reports that Wilcox has been on, and Bates was sweet when I stopped by Monday and Tuesday. I suspect Elings is also quite good in these conditions.
