Not-So Epic Wednesday - But Fun!

Forecast models looked like high altitudes and big fun so I drive up from Long Beach and drive up to Eliminator w/ WillyD & the German documentary camera crew who were working on a film about the California quasi-equivalent of the German föhn wind in the Alps. Because they were shooting for European broadcast I set my GoPro to record in PAL format and frankly it is far more pleasant to watch than crappy US NTSC format. I can't wait to do an edit and see who it play on YouTube.
Anyhow, my first flight was an extended ending at the beach where I met up with John who landed his red PG there.
I had been flying w/ him and Cort by the RoundHouse earlier during my epic scratch-fest.
Last I heard on radio, Hammer and John Hesch were at 4K by Romero while I was breaking down at the beach.
Next, I drove John up to his car at Parma but he had time to drive mine back down to Parma from the EJ bowl roadside turnout. We passed Cort on Gibraltar as he was mightily cycling back up to retrieve the van. John's good deed turned in to additional good deeds when he got back to Parma in time to spot a PG falling in (resulting in a back injury) and lend his assistance and then picked up Sierra-Crosser DaveT from (I think) the Mission.
