woke up to some crisp cool air and knew the sunrise god zephri was already cooking us a fat thermal. caught the eagle bus on the early bird special at 9am(already west wind in parma). pulled up my thong at 9:40 and my beeper started beepin. after a few minutes i was above the thermal factory at 3700 doin circles with a baby redtail. the morning light was shining through his dark feathers which made him glow. he squawked at me a few times and i fervently squawked back as i jumped up and down in my seat. not sure what i said but he went OTB soon after(i gotta work on that). i was beyond stoked, amazing moment. the west wind was pushing me around pretty good. i attempted going upwind a few times but think i needed some aluminum as opposed to my dental floss. couldnt risk not landing by my car so downwind was out of the question. eventually topped out again and took the riveria tour. on the ground at 10:30, back smashing on my keyboard by 11. euphoric morning!

it was already 7 or degrees cooler on top by 9am(18 cooler by late afternoon), pressure 1021. not sure if anyone went up later but i'm sure it was to the moon
