fish n chips wednesday

surprisingly light load in the eagle van up the hill. a bit hazy but 10 degrees cooler on top and 1018 pressure, light wind. i jumped a bit early from skyport and scratched between tit and lower RR for quite a while. McKeller was the first to crack through and went on point to VOR. Marite and Howser were boppin around cloud to cloud and high! Bobby Mac Sporrer came out to play in his F18 and we both finally got in the fours at RR and went on our way. The rest of the day was spent wearing out my middle finger as bobby outclimbed, out topped, and out glided me at every frickin spot. he made it look way too easy and casual. there was a decent amount of east wind below 4k which sucked for me as that is mostly where i was today. so every glide/point i came back on i had to get trashed coming around the corner but every upwind side was crackin(as bobby mac would easily come in over the top of every peak grab a few turns and repeat). got 1000 up at cathedral into a puffy marshmellow, and hit 5100 at RR in the whiteroom which got me to shadow and then bumped over to cito peak. taggart was at castle beating around and bobby joined him. i threw in the towel at romero and glided to padaro and landed with taggart soon after. bobby made it to powerlines but only got a few hundy over and was feelin the north wind which was apparent in the few clouds that were left and joined us at padaro. i highly recommend the fish n chips with the malt vinegar at the grill. super fun day with friends! huge thanks to howser and marite for the logistics
