got a call from hammer that he was passing thru parma at 11 so jumped on board with a short lunch window, just thought 2 minutes in heaven was better then no minutes in heaven so hopped in the crackhead mobile. got to eliminator with taggart and a handful of hg soldiers. the sky had me very intimidated as there were lots of dark black parts from launch out to parma way, cloudbase of 3000ish and towering tops. taggart and i kept saying 'you first'. willy eventually hucked his jet and was quickly down at power prayer. hmm. then 3 more after him were way out front struggling to stay aloft. not what i thought at all, but my time window was gone by now and i was in a car heading down and back to work. later found out that hammer didnt have any trouble staying up in the light stuff(i know, big surprise) and went monticito to vor where the west wind started churning things up and out to the beach. taggart later launched, dug one out low out front and rode the sun line out front down to bates and ridge soared there with the crew for a bit. willy and max went back up for round two and said it was pretty big turb as the west wind was strong and more sun was shining. in retrospect i guess i should have jumped first, 'what could possibly go wrong?!' ;)
averaged 15 degrees cooler on top, low 1015 pressure, and light sw this morning, which turned strong west later
