We went back up to Chief again today, a little earlier this time, and even though the conditions looked like they'd be more or less the same as yesterday (34 degree spread), they seemed significantly mellower. A little rowdy down low, and a little rowdy in a couple of places over Nordhoff Ridge, but all in all reasonably do-able with a good bump tolerance. Lift was good but not excessive (500-900 fpm). Stan and Forrest ended up at the Propeller field, Chris G and Matt H ended up at the high school, and I almost made it to the high school but leaving Nordhoff Ridge with 4200 wasn't enough for the day, and I landed a bit short. Lots of fun, nice day!
