Didn't some reliable sources say something about a paved road being open to Pine Mtn. at the end of this month?

Isn't the end of the month THIS weekend?

Isn't the weather looking pretty good so far?

Shouldn't we be holding a vigil at the gate with all our gear ready and wait for someone to open the gate?

We need a vehicle (or several?), driver(s), oxygen?, cash for the ride up , and for drivers and for the yummy Mexican restaurant out near the truck stop past Frazier Mtn.!

Somebody wake up Dean Stratton and yank him off his couch!

Cool! Any day of the weekend will work for me now, but only one. Lets pow wow at some point about the weather and logistics to pick the best one. I've already plugged in my crystal ball to charge fully.

I just called the Ojai ranger station. Pine is open. I'll be camping with the family either atop of Frazier, Pinos or Abel depending on what's available. Be sure to say hello as you fly by.
