Update:
It was HOT HOT HOT. probably shoulda hiked earlier, but the good news is I didn't heat stroke out, and even the biting flies couldn't hack it. Hiked it in 50 minutes. Launched at 12:10pm and was stuck for 15 minutes at 300 over launch but flew an hour and some change in the end and made it to 3800 a couple times and flew as far as the pyramid and then back to the bottom of the nut to land near my car.
Inverted from 3500 on up, but definitely soarable...just trashy above 3.5k.
Felt great to get a hike in, and fly some chunky air. Hopefully Chief will be nice tomorrow (Fri). Full bus.
