The permit used on Saturday wouldn't open the gate on Sunday. Drove to the Ranger Station to confirm we had the right combination and were told that new areas had been closed due to the fire, but the map we were shown didn't include Rose Valley. Unable to resolve the problem so we flew the coast in S.B. instead.
