fun day at bates yesterday. it was on from about 10am with light conditions and ramped up over the next 2 hours. got real fat for a while then blew hard. willy setup his demo t2 136 hg about 1:30 and flew to ventura.

Showed up with the kids around 1:30 or so, hiked around a bit and got to see the launch, climb and flight all the way to Ventura as we drove home. The pilot took an out front line as the lift was fat and the wind looked strongish up high. Missed the landing but was fun to watch the climbout and flight. Here are a few pics of the beautiful day:
