still buzzing! caught the fly above all burb with rich, howser and robin. jumped off the eliminator about 10:30ish after rich lead the way to cloudbase. cloudbase was about 5k to the west and about 3k or less to the east. Howser took the back route and i the front to the west. i touched 5200 a few times and the views through the white corridors were breathtaking. howser and i met up at vor and cruised back with only a few turns down to shadow where clouds were below 3k and we got spanked but some funkalicous kung fu action. we turned tail back to the fishbowl. the riviera from the mission to sycamore canyon kept us above 2500 as there was lift everywhere. beautiful day for a little free flyin!

We all watched the Atlas 5 rocket carrying Landsat launch from VAFB as we made our way up Gibraltar.
Later at Skyport, after myself leaving the ground straight up, I got in an hour and a half in the air, spending the bulk of my time avoiding clouds. Spectacular views this day!

Was beautiful indeed..after a late start and some fun over the antennas, Glenny and I had a nice climb out over the Riviera to 3K plus, followed by a high cruise over town to East Beach, post card views the whole way..love your black and white shot of the mountains !
