caught a ride up with scottay and the gang up to ej bowl. the fog was creepin in, up and over the riviera and the air seemed a bit stable. good amount of base wind at ej bowl. enough to play on the ridge and scoot over to la cumbre for the same. left even with the top of la cumbre over to altenator. just got lower and lower from then on at the bump then west bowl then cathedal and inspiration point. i wanted 2600 at cathedral to reach for the roadcut, but got there at 2400 with light east wind and quickly sunk lower. landed at robins and had a nice hike down jesasita trail to foothill road where cort and jeff swept me up. cort landed at a field off of northridge road. hopefully the ojai crew got more uptime then us. however, another beatiful day in paradise with friends!

We did! Ojai was fun but a considerably smaller crew than Sat. We had a full truck of tandems+pilots and a few out of towners, including Robin who probably doesn't count as an out of towner anymore. Lift was good and most hit 6+ with Robin topping 6400 before heading for Nordhoff and eventually landing at the HS. The rest of us enjoyed the fat and smooth air over Chief before taking our tandems to the Windmill. It was a great end to a stellar weekend. It's going to be a sad day when the Nordhoff ridge road closes for the Winter.
