a little east with your bbq

seeking a labor day huck before firing up the barby seemed like a great idea. caught a full and enthusiastic eagle bus at parma and up the hill we went with our martyr el hefe at the wheel. strong east wind at ej bowl sent a few of us skybound. i farted around launch in poppy, sinky conditions and didnt feel my odds were too good for a push upwind. so glided to cathedral and came in on the east spines about 3/4 the way up. plenty of lift there which jellyfished up and down to 3200 a few times. timmy got up a bit at ej and fished over to la cumbre but soon ended up at cathedral. left cathedral for west bowl where there was no wind and no lift. out to the T in a steady 8ish west wind. timmy landed at cienaguitas and an out of towner at robbins. bader and irene pushed upwind to parma. the rest went and launched skyport but i hear had limited soaring options. good times!
