Mid-Summer SB Flyin'
Posted: Tue Jul 31, 2012 8:45 pmThe Eagle Van has been gettin' back to bizness lately, getting many students first high flights up in the mountains. Of course it's not the crackin' XC conditions of winter, but people have been getting 30-45 minute soaring flights!
Today John Lyon soared for 30 minutes on his paraglider over Parma and this weekend Jon Blake got a 45 minute flight off EJ Bowl. I've been getting in the air a bit too late to soar much, but have been thrilled with the conditions for new and low airtime pilots.
Eagle is at the Training Hill most days and we would love to see you all out there gettin' some. The conditions have been really nice all day. XC season isn't far away in SB, so take the time now to brush up on those launching and landing skills so you are ready to rock with confidence when the time comes
