got to bates early. the whitecaps held back but finally rushed up and kissed the shoreline. it was SW18. perfect for speeding! jumped right in for 45 minutes of swoopin'. the conditions calmed down a few clicks- a window in the mid teens for awhile in WSW. chris and dez showed up just as winds picked up again and another great speed session was had. she crossed up and that was it- but was really fun and felt great, its the laying down that hurts right now.

Glad to hear you're gettin some. What time did you get there and what time did it go cross? Looks sort of similar on Saturday, so I'm toying with chasing it.
