Monday Floatin

caught the fly above all bus up to altenator. warm with light se cycles up there. it seemed that if you ventured below the altenator bump out front you were done. i hung onto every piece of uptime along the powerlines with many half turns in lift for quite some time popping a hundy or 2 above launch a few times. tried to hug the ridge to la cumbre but didnt get very far with east in my face and no lift, so flipped a bitch and scooted back about 100 below launch. hung out at the bump again with wade and it seemed harder to hang on after a while, so with about 50 above the bump i rode that downhill spine to the west and got a suprisingly good glide to just below the main knob on no name. hung there for a bit without gaining anything and pushed on to VOR spine. came in below the lower rock pile and didnt have much luck so putted out to the T. seemed like the eagle crew at EJ bowl had better soaring options. saw at least one go beach bound and a few floating above parma for a long time. Hands up! fun morning in the hills!
