Had a great flight today up at EJ Bowl! Met up with the Eagle Van around 10:30. There was a little base wind on launch, just the right amount and the cycles were nice and consistent. There was only five of us, and we scored big! Everyone got super buoyant glides, with not much sink to be found. I got some nice turns in over the Tit and Holy Hills, cruised over to the Round House for a very spicy canyon thermal with a local, then out to the monastery for a super nice climb that took me back up to 3500. I really wanted to go to the beach, but the marine layer had filled in to the freeway and I decided against breaking the law ;) I wasn't sure if the marine layer moving in so fast meant the forecasted wind was arriving in town, so I opted to go land in case it came in strong to Parma. Had a nice pleasure cruise over the Riviera while burning some altitude. The other four had great flights and awesome landings as well! Hope to get some more soon
