Despite the high cloud cover we ran the Fly Above All van up for some first high flights with students. It turned out to be amazingly good! Super buoyant climbs right off launch, easy glides and minimal wind. Wickstrom made a lap or two over to La Cumbre and had nearly 5k over launch. Most of us were content to boat around between WB and launch with 4500, including Russell scoring nearly 45 minutes on his first high flight. Looked like he'd been flying thermals for years!
