max alt @ 5900 in front of chief where i found mostly sweet easy thermals over the road~ nothing when i tried to scale back over the peak.. typical ruff stuff @ bruces and nord ridge. brendan, art and i had the highschool~ milley hit tons of sink on final glide and put her down nicely just short. steve flushed off twin peaks and landed near bocallis. oj earned store cred by offering to drive the truck down. an decent midsummer frontcountry day for the poor(ish) spread ~ poppy enuf along the ridges : i think we may have been able to tag chief if we'd launched the nuthouse instead of driving up~ but 4WDriving is fun too.
