Brendan, OJ, and I headed up the hill this morning, first stop was to fix Rhonda.
>>I found out that the VX-150 has a known issue with transmitting at full power while the battery is charging. Both create heat, and the output amp will burn out eventually, leaving you with only the 200mw of power from the transciever circuit. The new radio is the FT-250 with the battery removed. It's working now, we'll see how long it lasts.
We went on to the south launch and did some maintenance, but it was blowing 17 from the north so no flying. Deer lodge on the way home.
