La Cumbre Tuesday
Posted: Wed Jun 01, 2011 12:09 amGreat Day for the PEAK! Checked weather and thought to myself....what a great direction for the PEAK! Been quite some time since I rock and rolled that place and when I arrived, the Cox Cable guys were doing some maintenance, so we got the Red Carpet treatment, and drove to launch....this had to be a sign..."this is exactly where I am supposed to be right now"..Bang Bang.
Set up the Pink Panther and punched off to the sweet sounds of Flytec, bumping that BEEP BEEP N BEEP BEEP< YEAH! Yeah Ok...maybe I little excited, but when you run into late may conditions like these, you gotta be thankful!!! THANK YOU! climbed about 500 above Launch and then headed to Cathedral..played around out there and then back to the top....then off to the R&R...over to the Factory then back for some R&R and then back to the Factory. 2+ hours aboard and road until the cows came home...well, at least until I flushed....had a great landing at Uppers and thought too myself....IT'S FEELS GOOD TO BE IN THE HOOD!
Look forward to more airtime this week....I'll keep an eye on the weather and touch base with John G...this week...anyone else got some time!?
