Was ripping today. Easy 4.5k in town. Skipped out of work, jumped in the Fly Above All van - thanks Jimmy! Rode up with three whippets. Joined Ty and Michelle on launch. Saw Glenny spec out from the Antenas to Thermal Factory out to the Islands! Flanklin beamed out over the back of the Thermal Factory to the Back of the Rack! Was great to see John Anthoney over the Thermal Factory. I flew East chasing Zippy and Willly. It was strong SW to the Wires. Then light below 5k by Divide. Convergening NE and SW at White Ledge. Climbed to 8.1k! Flew over the city then onto Nordof Ridge, but pushed out by the North East , so circled out to upper Ojai and back across the river bed to Bump 3...flew out to the river bed then out to Casistas to call it a day. Zippy landed in East Ojai, Willy out and return from Ojai to Montecito. Many thanks to Marge for retrieve!

Nice flying you guys! I got work covered tomorrow so hopefully its on for round 2. I'll be heading through Parma around 10:30.

awesome bob!! the way u described those winds i could see that happening. on the ground it was about as windy as it gets in ventura at 9 am and even in the early afternoon, i was getting sand blasted at solimar beach as the NE tore it up. the surface winds scared me off the day for pg xc and you completely snagged a huge flight. way to go and thanks for writing it up so we can learn sumthin!
