I, Jonathan and Dave all had a good flights even we did not make it out to Lockwood valley, getting up to 10K and fly along Pine ridge was fun. After I left OTB and headed for bad lands games was over, did not find anything until quite low over dry creek, but drift was too strong out from the west, so I did not feel comfortable commit that low and drift with thermal. Landed at dry creek LZ, 15 minutes later Dave landed at the same place. Jonathan landed at Ranch. Thanks Eddie for Driving

My GPS track:
http://www.paraglidingforum.com/leonardo/flight/370908John, unfortunately I'm busy this week, may next time. But forecast looks real good for Tuesday, so I hope you will have a good long and safe flight!

Cycles were few and far between, but some strong ones where making the pine needles sing. We also saw some OTB cycles. Alex was already at 9K+ and Jonathan was climbing past him. I launched and couldn't find anything over the knob. I continued to sink with only a few weak thermals here and there - so, I decided to head for the Sand Pile. I was about half to 3/4 of the way there and was down to about 5600 ft, and started hitting some good lift. I worked that for about 10-15 min and got back to 7100, so I headed back to the ridge. I was able to find lift on the way and then found myself over launch at 8300. Started to sink out again and figured I'm going back to the Sand Pile, but then I caught a big fat one that took me to 10,200. Boated around in that for a while, enjoying the view, and celebrating a low save, then decided to go OTB at 10,100. Headed toward the foothills to the right of Dry Canyon & Lockwood Vly Rd. Found nothing worth turning in, so I headed back and landed next to Alex at Dry Canyon. Fun day, but it was an emotional roller coaster: I'm screwed... I'm back in the game! I'm screwed again... I'm at 10.2K!!!! Sheesh!!!

DAve,
Way to milk your way back to launch... Definately would have sucked to have to land at the sand pile...
Won't be able to make it today, but maybe this weekend?
