Visiting pilot from AZ on 7/31 & 8/1

I will be visiting Santa Barbara this weekend and would like to get some flying in.
Weather permitting I would love to tag along.
I haven't been to SB before so I'm not sure what kind of sites you have, mountain, coastal etc.

Hey,
Welcome to SB. Mostly coastal in the summer.

You defiantly need to hook up with someone to get the info needed before flying ANY of our coastal site.

I recommend go to our training Hill At Elings Park

It would help if visiting pilots gave a brief bio so we don't send the P2s to Pine and the Atos-equipped H4s to Bates.

Yes, you are correct.

I'm a h-3 flying a discus 15b. I fly in arizona regularly, mostly at mingus. I'm intrigued at the mountain site (eliminator?) you guys have, but having trouble finding any information on it. It would be great if I could be guided by a local. I would also be open to the possibility of some coastal sites as well (dont know if there are any in the area).

Grew up in Sedona... Went to HS in Cottonwood. Would love to fly Mingus sometime.
