We had a fun day today. 10:15 meet at Parma. It looked like it was OD'ing on the drive up. Wishing we had set an earlier meet time. I urged all to get off quickly and not fuss around too long. It held off and didn't OD too badly. I was first off and had a fun flight never getting above 2500 as Dean, Nate, Farmer, and I went to castle point and then came back to Parma. I opted to land at Saint Mary's and help one of my alumni extract his glider from a tree. We got it out with no rips or tears just two broken lines, and we sewed him up two new lines this afternoon and he is good to go for tomorrow.

2 much fun! Hardly any wind to speak of, maybe SE 3-4 - if that. I don't like to give up the high ground if I don't have to, but being that cloudbase was below 3k for most of the day we didn't have a choice other than to run the range using only the lower foothills. I have to admit, it made it more interesting, however, one wrong move could have you calling for retrieve early. We all made it, but not without a few VERY low saves. Kabir and I headed to East beach and Bob P. generously picked us up. Several of us met at the Habit for post flight treats and good trash-talkin'

A day doesn't get much better than that. SA is in the first couple shots, with Nate in the last one.
