Cayucos Saturday 11/7

Any flying in SB today? Brian Miller and I went to Cayucos. It was one of their wierd days when the ridge (most of which is a few hundred yards inland) isn't soarable, but there's a great lift band out over the beach and surf. I didn't figure this out until it was too late and I sank out, but then watched Brian, a new H2 in our area, cruise overhead up and down the beach without losing a foot. I have a feeling it was one of those rare days there when it's possible to fly all the way to Morro Rock, or way north, and back just by staying over the beach and ignoring the hills inland. Pretty cool. Stoked to see a newbie like Brian hit it on a day like this.

So cool... That is a pretty amazing convergence that happens up there when hit at the right time. Good times....
