marty and i flew at the nuthouse on saturday after a particularly tough hike in the heat. lots of high cirrus blocking the sun and east cycles made our prospects seem just ok at best. marty flew his targa and demonstrated some active piloting techniques as there was lots of turb low around launch. once we got up to ridge level the air was better. marty topped at 4300 and i think i might have scratched 41 over nordhoff ridge but the east was too strong (for me at least) to penetrate further downrange. we landed at the high school.
