Fillmore Pics (Sunday May 31st)
Posted: Sun May 31, 2009 8:16 pmLooked like a cool and cloudy day, but the sun came out and stayed out! A beautiful Condor showed us that the conditions were good just after we arrived, circling up in a nice thermal, and even stuck around long enough for a photo op! The wind picked up and thermals soon became mixed and textured until later in the day. Managed to get two hour+ tandems and Carmen, Kevin, Lauren, Mark, (and someone else?) got some fun in the glassy air that they all patiently waited for at the end of the day.
Thanks to Mark and Kris for the hospitality and ride to launch!
