hey guys,
was great hanging out with all of you - both on ground and in the air! what a great bunch of people!!
for those that did not make it to the owens: the conditions where good, alas some ODing on saturday which made us land shortly after noon. not sticking to the high ground in the beginning i was not as fast as alex and made it to independence (my tracklog got not saved this day grrrr

)
landing was interesting, going down vertically, shortly after landing the wind picked up by another 5mph or so...
sunday was drier and less windy, but still some ODing around walt's and thunderstorms in the mountains (but far away). however towards 2pm the conditions started to look a bit too iffy over the inyo's for my taste and i put it down at tinemaha not far away from james. when we were back at camp indeed it looked dark grey back there where we landed.
all the spines just worked great, and it was good fun spiraling skywards. good for me the hangies marked all the cores along the way
before onion valley things started to be a bit slow, onion valley itself was trashy (as usual as i learned later

) but after that i connected to the screamer from hell which beamed me back to cloudbase in no time, from there it was a loooong glide out into the valley, taking along some bubbles on the way.
here is the tracklog:

will be back for some more, hopefully without the ODing next time and maybe taking some O2 with me

see you in the sky!
